Technical consultation session between the Iraqi Ministry of Electricity and the Saudi Al Arrab Company for Electronic Transformation.

 

As part of the ongoing bilateral cooperation between Iraq and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Iraqi Ministry of Electricity hosted a technical consultation meeting with a delegation from the Saudi Al Arrab Company, specializing in digital transformation and governance. The meeting was attended by the ministry's Deputy Minister for Transmission and Distribution Affairs, Engineer Nizar Qahtan Al-Tamimi, representing the Minister, along with Mr. Kamel Al-Aqili, member of the Parliamentary Electricity Committee.

The meeting focused on reviewing the latest technologies and software offered by the Saudi Arap Company, aimed at supporting digital transformation in the energy sector in Iraq. Participants expressed their commitment to enhancing cooperation and exchanging technical expertise to strengthen the electrical infrastructure and improve energy distribution services in Iraq.

The Deputy Minister and the parliamentary representative emphasized the importance of international partnerships in supporting the digital transformation strategy adopted by the Iraqi government. They expressed optimism about collaborating with the Saudi Al Arrab Company to achieve these common goals.

During the meeting, future steps were identified to implement joint projects in the fields of digital transformation and electronic governance, enhancing Iraq's ability to achieve progress and sustainability in the electricity sector.

It is worth noting that Iraq consistently seeks to attract modern technologies and benefit from international expertise to enhance energy infrastructure, aiming to meet citizens' needs and promote comprehensive development in the country.
